Rules to Play Gilli Danda
This is india's best game played in gali mohala.
Imagine a game like cricket or baseball but without a ball! That's what 'Gilli Danda' is like. Gilli Danda requires two wooden sticks - a 'Gilli' and a 'Danda'. The 'Gilli' is a small wooden piece which is about three inches long. The 'Danda' - a stick, about 2 feet in length, is used to strike the Gilli.
Certains rule to play:-
Number of players - 4+
How to play?
A small circle about four feet in diameter is drawn on the ground with a small oval-shaped hole in the centre (the hole should be smaller than the gilli). The gilli is placed across the hole. Two teams are formed and they bat by turns. The first player to bat tries to lift and throw the Gilli by hitting it with the Danda. If he is successful, the fielding team tries to catch the Gilli before it touches the ground. If they succeed, the batsman is out and the second player comes in to bat. If the fielders can't catch the Gilli, the distance between the central hole and the place where the Gilli falls is measured with the danda. Each length of the danda counts for one run.
After the score is recorded, the danda is placed over the central hole. The fielder who was standing closest to the point where the gilli had fallen, tries to hit the danda with the gilli from where he was standing. If the gilli hits the danda or falls in the circle, the batsman is out. If not the batsman gets another chance to hit the gilli.
The game continues till all the players have their turn at batting. The team with the most runs is declared the winner.

Little Manu story
Teacher: Why are you late?
Manu: Because of the sign.
Teacher: What sign?
Manu: The one that says, "School Ahead, Go Slow."
Teacher: Johny, how do you spell "crocodile"?
Manu: "K-R-O-K-O-D-A-I-L"
Teacher: No, that's wrong
Manu: Maybe it's wrong, but you ask me how I spell it!
Teacher: Johny, name one important thing we have today that we didn't have ten years ago.
Manu: Me!
Teacher: "Can anybody give an example of COINCIDENCE?"
Manu: "Sir, my Mother and Father got married on the same day same time."
Teacher: Now, children, if I saw a man beating a donkey and stopped him, what virtue would I be showing?
Manu: Brotherly love.
Teacher: Now, Johny, tell me frankly do you say prayers before eating?
Manu: No sir, I don't have to, my mom is a good cook.
Teacher: What do you call a person who keeps on talking when people are no longer interested?Manu: A teacher
